At Zelesta, quality comes first. Our coverless duvets and other bedding are carefully designed and inspected – from the selection of materials to the final stitch.

Our Quality Standards

All Zelesta products comply with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, a core part of our quality promise. This means that all fabrics, threads, fillings, labels, buttons, and zippers are tested for harmful substances and allergens, ensuring your duvet is safe and skin-friendly.

In addition, we carry out extensive quality checks both in our own factories and upon arrival at our warehouse. This ensures that only the finest duvets reach our customers.

Technical Quality Controls

We aim to produce all our products according to international testing standards. Some collections already meet these standards, and we are working hard to make this consistent across all our products.

Our main quality standards include:

  • Seam Strength – ISO 13935-2
    → Testing the strength of seams and resistance to pulling.
  • Colour Fastness in Washing – ISO 105-C06 / C10
    → Ensuring colour retention after repeated washing.
  • Washability & Dimensional Stability – ISO 6330 / ISO 5077
    → Assessment of shrinkage and shape retention.

Safety and Regulations

Zelesta products comply with EU REACH regulations, ensuring that our fabrics are free from prohibited chemicals and meet all European safety requirements.

Post-Brexit, UK REACH applies, which closely mirrors EU REACH, so our products also meet UK safety standards.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Zelesta, quality and sustainability go hand in hand. We are continuously working to make our materials and production methods more environmentally friendly.

Our sustainability guidelines include:
